Academic Achievements

2017 Academic Report

At Legacy Traditional Schools, we believe there is no limit to what a student can achieve in life when a great foundational education is forged and a strong character is cultivated. Our non-profit network of tuition-free, A-rated public schools was founded on these principles in 2007, and they continue to be the cornerstone of our mission to build lifelong learners and good citizens.

During the 2016-2017 school year, over 12,000 students attended our 12 Arizona campuses. Academic achievements included:

  • 75% of Legacy Traditional Schools receiving an “A” rating from the Arizona Department of Education, when only 16% of all Arizona schools received an “A” label
  • Legacy students outperforming each of their peer subgroups in both Mathematics and English Language Arts.
  • Legacy Traditional School’s Queen Creek and Casa Grande campuses being the only schools in Pinal County to receive an “A” Rating
  • Legacy Traditional School’s Avondale campus being recognized as the highest scoring of all 540 Arizona K-8 charter schools and the fourth highest scoring of all 1,465 K-8 Arizona public district and charter schools
